The HP2* insulating flange design utilises the largest possible contact area on the weld neck flange face by means of insulating rings and thrust rings; as a result, the corrugated gaskets are compressed evenly. A pad flange connection can be achieved through the additional use of compensation plates between the insulating flange and the weld neck flanges. This enables maximum bolt tension and thereby a high bolt preload.
All variants are available in D and Dplus outside diameters.
